Position: SAP / Business Process Specialist

SAP / Business Process Specialist Job Purpose: Primary role and responsibility is to support the ongoing operation of the SAP enterprise resource planning system with primary focus on Financial Controlling (FICO), Material Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Plant Maintenance (PM) and Sales & Distribution (SD) configuration and development.

SAP / Business Process Specialist Job Duties:

• Provides functional expertise, guidance, presentation and instruction by educating key users on SAP modules.
• Solves SAP software problems by acting as a liaison with HQ experts for troubleshooting; investigations and analysis.
• Manages the prioritisation and delivery of work requests from the various functional areas.
• Ensures a good understanding of all the processes and supports the business in providing detailed knowledge of SAP as well helps them to clean up data.
• Meets business requirements and objectives by suggesting, developing and implementing SAP modification and/or configuration changes, helps to improve business process design in collaboration with corresponding functional managers, Internal consultant to the business for continuous business process improvement.

Skills:

Can clearly and assertively expresses himself, flexible and open to other people’s point of view, capable of working effectively with HQ partners, knowledge of the end-to-end business processes in a manufacturing environment, ability to work as the "liaison" or "missing link" with functional and/or technical teams from the opposite side of the aisle, change management skills, encourages innovation and the search for new solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in appropriate functional area and/or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in business consulting, software solution implementation and industry expertise in the relevant functional areas of SAP.
• ABAP development skills a plus. Aptitude for acquiring these skills is a necessity.
• Proven track record in SAP implementations – experience of being part of at least 3 end-to-end implementations.
• Proven program and project management experience is not mandatory but will serve as added advantage.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. .
• Very good written and verbal communications skills (both in Chinese and English).
