Responsibilities:
Morningstar's Shenzhen office is looking for a customer support executive to work in our global support team. This dynamic team is part of an exciting and growing organization.
Based in Shenzhen, as a customer support executive you will be part of a global team working to help and support a growing client base.
You will work with API clients to help them
o Understand and program to the API specifications
o Support them with any issues they have
o Deal with any client issues post go- live
You will be providing excellent customer service by responding and efficiently resolving client issues and requests. You will also assist in testing new software, installing updates, correcting data errors, help clients set up new systems/hardware, and creating and updating documentation.
You will also perform 'remote hands' operations and network tasks at client sites; assist sales in sales meetings and pre-sales support and project manage client installations. Assist in software testing of new releases and proactively escalate any issues.
The ideal candidate will be pro-active, flexible and creative. They will have the ability to work in a demanding environment. They need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills which are necessary to work with colleagues and clients. You must have solid working knowledge of all Windows operating systems and PC hardware, as well as an understanding of IP communications and technologies. Documentation and organizational skills are key.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree or similar in a technical discipline with strong academic credentials.
