The Role:

In this role you will work with product managers, Associate project managers, project coordinators and developers to implement high quality and timely project deliveries. An ideal candidate would be familiar with Product Development, have a background in Financial Services and possess Project Management skills. This position is based in Shenzhen, China.

Responsibilities:
? Work with development team & QA team to create and maintain a project plan, including goals, deliverables, resources, and timelines.
? Write specifications and understand business requirements.
? Communicate clearly with SZ PM Team members and stakeholders and act as a mediator between them.
? Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented.
? Monitor process compliance and report on progress and status against project milestones.
? Lead, coach and motivate project team members on a proactively.
? Develop best practices for development of products
? Day to day local management of other associate project managers and project coordinators in Shenzhen.
? Perform administrative activities for the Project management SZ team.
? Ensure consistency of process across product lines served from Portfolio Management Services Team.

Qualifications:
? Bachelor degree or above, major in Computer Technology and Science or Financial fields.
? More than 5 years of overall experience with at least 3 years of team management experience.
? Excellent, clear, concise written and verbal communication skills in English.
? High organized, be able to multi-task, management manage activities in parallel.
? Strong team-building and influencing skills.
? Must have clear understanding of the responsibilities in software development process.
? Familiarity with Morningstar products such as Direct, Office and EDM is a plus.
? For internal applicant, 1+ year working experience in Morningstar and 1+ year working experience in your current role is a plus.
