Purpose of Position
To source suppliers to supply TJM product and components to satisfy business requirements.
Main Accountabilities
1. Coach and support your team through regular feedback, sharing of information and developmental opportunities
2. Ensure you act responsibly and perform work duties in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety standards
3. Review key supplier performance with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to address issues and exploit opportunities
4. Act as liaison between the stakeholder and the supplier to determine if optimal approach to meeting validated business requirements
5. Complete supplier audits for all new suppliers
6. Support the Quality policy by ensuring Quality in everything that we do as per ISO9001:2008, TUV homologation, and Conformity of Production requirements.
7. Develop and maintain good supplier relationships ensuring good communication and supply
8. Confirm the terms of all contracts, licenses, insurance and liability agreements for each source
9. Produce reports as required including; weekly finished goods and raw materials re-order reports, Daily exceptions reports, overdue Purchase Order reports
10. Ensure purchases for required goods or services are made by recommending appropriate supplier/s, costs, processes, etc.
11. Evaluate and analyse supplier proposals
12. Review and negotiate contracts to mitigate risks
13. Perform analysis of supplier spend data and process metrics to proactively recommend improvements
14. Provide input to stakeholders on budget development based on market/supplier pricing
15. Provide feedback to stakeholders and management regarding status of projects and initiatives
16. Maintain Supplier Maintenance files
17. Assist in all stock takes as required
18. Perform analysis of spend data and process metrics to proactively recommend improvements
Experience, Qualifications & skills
1. Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English and Chinese
2. Previous experience supervising and mentoring others
3. Previous experience in sourcing and purchasing
4. Intermediate skills in Word and Excel
5. Previous experience using an ERP, preferably

3. A proven ability to be highly organised and self-managing, with the ability to meet tight deadlines,set realistic goals and establish work priorities with minimal direction or supervision
