Purpose of Position
To purchase suppliers to supply TJM product and components to satisfy business requirements.
Main Accountabilities
1. Ensure you act responsibly and perform work duties in accordance with TJM’s Health and Safety standards
2. Support the Quality policy by ensuring Quality in everything that we do as per ISO9001:2008, TUV homologation, and Conformity of Production requirements.
3. Raise Purchase Orders and Purchase Returns on Suppliers and for sales of one off orders as required.
4. Confirm Purchase Orders and overdue purchase orders with Suppliers
5. Run follow up with suppliers and update new due dates in SAP
6. Liaise with production on inventory issues
7. Liaise with sales on bough in product queries
8. Maintain all filing of Purchase Orders and supplier related data
9. Update sales forecasts and item master details
10. Transact issued stock where needed
11. Reconciliation of Direct Ship orders placed on Suppliers
12. Update KPI’s reports as required
Experience, Qualifications & skills
1. Previous experience in in sourcing and purchasing
2. Ability to develop and maintain good supplier relationships
3. Experience using an ERP preferably SAP
4. Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English and Chinese
5. Previous experience
6. Intermediate skills in Word and Excel
Personal Attributes
1. Good attention to detail
2. Ability to maintain confidentially
3. A proven ability to be highly organised and self-managing, with the ability to meet tight deadlines,
