Responsibilities:
- Handle mechanical engineering related tasks in cost saving programs as well as provide assistances in new product development. Work with contract manufacturers and LF colleagues, to drive & finalize mechanical design, process improvements, and DFX (Design For X). Initial Component Sourcing and qualification.
- Project communication with project team and vendors.
- Sample evaluation, debug, & follow up, write and release engineering document.
- Work plan analysis, weekly report, generate standard design, & others.
- Build 3D CAD in part design and 2D drawing.
- Communicate with US teams in English speaking and writing.
- Drive our contract manufacturers to finish and settle all tasks before each milestone.

Requirement:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Master Degree Preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in design of high volume consumer electronics products utilizing injection molded component design with emphasis in CAD.
- Proficiency with 3D Solid Modeling software, such as Pro-E is required.
- Excellent problem isolation and debug skills. Capable of delivering solid solution during product development.
- Characterization data analysis and presentation, with demonstrated understanding of results and provide solution.
- Experienced with high volume products with proven records in engineering design, prototype debug, and taking products into manufacturing.
- Proven ability to effectively organize, work independently and productively on simultaneous tasks.
- In-depth experience in writing engineering specifications, ECO, product development test plan as well as execute per plan and schedule.
- Strong Product Cost reduction experience with proven record.
- Build FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to have structural analysis and tolerance study for parts design.
- Knowledge & experienced of tool structure, plastic resin properties, injection molding process.
- Familiar with Toy Product development and Safety Requirements.
- Plastic or metal structural design desirable.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) and excellent communication skill.
