Position Title: Senior Manager of Research, Beijing
Business Unit: CBRE Research
Reports To: Department Director, CBRE Research, North China
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
1)To assist the Director in supervising and co-ordinating the research activities of the department in accordance with Company’s strategic plans and standards.
2)To take responsibility for ensuring that the databases and systems are properly managed and maintained, and that both information and technology are kept current.
3)To assist the Director in monitoring the quality of work carried out by the department, such as checking for accuracy and quality to ensure that all work produced by the department is of a superior quality.
4)To source information and conduct market surveys and produce one-off memoranda, marketing briefs or slide show presentations for corporate or investment clients.
5)To supervise field research, including the collection of information and the production of regular in-house publications and ad-hoc research assignments.
6)To supervise translation work for research reports and publications.
7)To carry out any other assignments as directed by the Executive Director, CBRE Research, Greater China or the Management, working as part of a cohesive team to identify opportunities where research may be used to further or develop the Company’s business.
REQUIREMENTS
1. University graduate with a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience.
2. Fluency in English and Mandarin, good writing skills in English and Chinese.
3. Ability to articulate research findings and opinions succinctly.
4. Essential educational or professional qualification necessary for successful job performance.
5. A high degree of mathematical skills and accuracy in calculations.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly in Excel and Power Point.
