职位描述
Essential Functions:
>Experience in cooling cycle design and development of Refrigeration / Air-conditioning products, specifically Home appliance /Automobile background preferred.
>Candidate should be well-conversant with refrigeration cycle, refrigerants, components and latest trends.
>Development of Refrigerator Cooling system from Concept stage to final design.
>Development of prototypes for concept evaluation and lab testing.
>Evaluation of different design options through planned experimentation to arrive best options.
>Co ordinations with cross-functional teams for smooth implementation of project.
>Project planning and close tracking of each activities to ensure timely completion
>Ensure the effective usage of Robust product design tools in each steps of product development process.
>Competition Benchmarking and analysis for the generation of new idea’s, Also work on cooling system cost and quality improvement projects.
>Experience in basic Product approval testing for Home appliance (Refrigerator/Air conditioners). Strong Home appliance knowledge
>Discuss with OEM supplier on feasibility of executing design and liaise with Global Consumer design to ensure the design for manufacturability and quality;
>Plan, co-ordinate & help to execute the product design as per the requirements received from Marketing;
>Check and help OEM supplier to do basic tolerance stack up for the parts and sub assemblies. Identify and communicate critical characteristics; Expertise in Tolerance stack up (2D &3D).
>Plan, coordinate to execute performance & Reliability tests on products, subsystems, and components to evaluate and approve new product designs;
>Product/platform evaluation, and identify technical abnormalities , ensure that problems are identified and elinminated as early as possible in development programs, Summarize and communicate the results of tests;
>Participate in creating, reviewing, and upgrading cost and quality of existing products based on data from the field;
>Participation in meetings and exchange of information through written and verbal communications means are required.
>Support BCCS( Cost reduction projects initiatives) cooling project on any tooling , engineering and quality issues.etc;
Qualifications:
>Bachelor degree in majors related with Mechanical (Thermodynamics) Engineering
>7 years working experience(min), at least 3 years working experience on product cooling design, project management working experience and home appliance industry is preferred;
>Strong Hold on Energy std. understanding for refrigerators & design solutions to meet emerging trends on energy requirements.
>Knowledge on the use of simulation/Mathematical modeling for thermodynamic design simulation in product development
>Good knowledge on GB, IEC, ISO, ASNZ & European standards for energy & cooling requirements and related home appliance industry standards;
>Demonstrable innovation and out-of-box thinker
>Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
>Good knowledge on Six Sigma (FMEA, SPC, MSE, COV, DOE, etc.) is preferred;
>Good ability of reading and writing in English. Fluent English speaking is must.
>Good team work and demonstrate the capabilities to coordinate the work in different organization and culture.
>Self-motivated, flexible, hard worker, a team player. Must be highly motivated and a self-starter, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
