FTDI requires an experienced Field Application Engineer( 5~8 years of experience) in the China market with prior experience in semiconductor, a good technical / engineering background, excellent communication skills in English ( level 6 ) and Chinese.

职务说明：
*Identify new design and sales opportunities with key customers – both direct and through channel partners
*Deliver design socket wins with key customers
*Achieve territory sales budget and assist with the delivery ot territory sales revenue growth
*Assist in closing new opportunities.
*Deliver presentations on FTDI products / roadmap to key customers and channel partners
*Deliver technical training on FTDI products to customers.
*Support trade exhibitions, and when applicable present technical papers
*Provide first line technical support to key customers on during the sales process
*Provide new product ideas back to product management and engineering.
? Develop and/or review application notes / user guides.


Skills / Attributes Required:
*Degree/Masters in Electrical/Electronic engineering discipline or equivalent.
*3-5 years technical sales experience
*3-5 years technical design experience
*Understanding of design/system integration to identify where FTDI can provide solutions.
*Understand schematics
*Understand software flow / driver installation
*Understand design win process – sampling, pilot run, mass production, pitch out of territory
*Understand sales proceses: timescales, shipping options, distribution

Additional QUalifications:
*Knowledge of a variety of system interfaces e.g. USB, WIFI, Bluetooth, RFID, NFC, GPS, UART, SPI, I2C would be a plus.
*Possess an understanding of sales process for semiconductor solutiions
*Knowledge of MCUs and display applications would be a plus.
*Significant travel is required .
