The key role for this person is to be an individual contributor for an engineering design team. In some cases this engineer is the lead engineer for a server design or will take direction from a remote lead engineer as contribute portions of the design. In all cases close collaboration is required to ensure the quality of the final product.

This Engineer will be responsible for but not limited:
- Develop overall server system product configuration based on product requirement- Lead system requirement feasibility study, design spec development
- Coordinate multiple internal function teams for system product development execution, including design & qualification.
- Working with ODM vendor for product co-development
- Ensure product to meet Customer & industry requirements
- Provide technical support to internal and external customers
The ability to work with a talented, experienced team locally and to implement complex designs is a must. Feasible communication skills are required in both Mandarin and English.
This engineer will contribute to all phases of development including system analysis, specification, design, verification and release to manufacturing.

Qualifications:
1. BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience is required.
2. At least 5 years of board/system level hardware design is required. A significant amount of this experience must be in the design of server products for Rack/Tower/Blade.
3. Familiar with computer architecture & electrical engineering, especially on server and X86 product
4. Deep understanding of system engineering process and quality control is required.
5. Good understanding on environmental testing, such as EMC, Dynamic, Climate, etc.
6. Good understanding on thermal, mechanical, power engineering knowledge
7. Strong problem solving & debug skill
8. Extensive knowledge of associated high speed circuit design including digital and analog design, DC-DC converter, signal integrity, etc. is strongly desired.
9. Proven ability to lead a small team of engineers and technicians and ability to work with cross-functional and cross-geographic teams is highly desired.
10. Experience with Intel and COM-E, server motherboard, or ATCA computing board development is highly desired.
11. Ability to learn new concepts and disciplines very quickly is required.
12. Must be self-motivated, team oriented, accountable, innovative and able to work independently with little or no direction.
13. Have a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to teamwork
14. Good communication & presentation skills both in English and Mandarin are required. This includes writing specifications, test plans and reports in English.
