Job Description:
Summary: Develop and maintain browser based mobile video products on existing system and platform.
1. Daily interaction with Product Managers in India and US to understand and clarify product feature requirements;
2. Develop video portal, users subscription, billing flow and cancellation processes;
3. Work closely with QA in India to test the code; support test case building;
4. Maintain the existing products. Tackle problems and solve bugs on daily basis. Optimize or change the existing business process when required;
5. Support analytics of product performance and statistics from log. Help in suggesting product improvements;
6. Support documentation of requirements and architecture design.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree and above, major in Computer Science or related fields;
2. 3 or more years experience of JAVA development; Expert level in JAVA: JSP, Servlet, DOM, CSS, AJAX etc.;
3. Expert level in database; Familiar with SQL;
4. Familiar with Eclipse; understand the version control in CVS, GIT Etc.;
5. Knowledge of HTML/JavaScript/XML; Knowledge of Linux;
6. Must have good communication skills in English, both written and verbal;
7. Excellent team player with strong collaboration skills with people across multiple functions and geographies, especially in India and in US.
8. Ability to adapt in fast-changing environment. Agile development experience preferred.
9. Highly motivated and initiative. Can get the job done independently with little training.
