Responsibilities:
- To assist in handling compliance matters related to banking operations
- To be responsible for coordinating with concerned parties and update the operations workflow (both system and manual) in response to the new rules and regulations
- To liaise with internal departments and external regulatory parties in response to the compliance-related enquiries
- To develop new ideas and methods for effectively addressing potential legal/compliance issues with regard to human resources
- To conduct extensive research on regulatory requirements and other related legislation
- To undertake ad-hoc projects as required
Candidate Specifications:
- University graduate with a minimum of 10 years' compliance experience in the banking, finance or securities sector
- Familiar with operational compliance related regulations and /or guidelines
- A detail-minded team player with logical and common sense
- Self motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong command of both spoken and written English and Mandarin with Cantonese as a bonus
- Sound knowledge of MS Office
