About LEGO Continuous Improvement (LCI)
The purpose of the LCI program is to build Continuous Improvement capabilities in the LEGO Group with the intent of increasing the business performance. Our ultimate goal is for all employees to live a LCI mind-set and for LCI to become "the way we work."
Key Focus areas:
The Senior LEAN Manager is reporting to General manager of LEGO Asia procurement in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, with the responsibilities is to drive LEAN implementation at suppliers for both core and extended line, focus on supplier development through collaboration across the departments of Asia Procurement and Asia Quality
-Facilitate LEAN implementation at suppliers, implement the Lean culture, Lean methods at suppliers with focus on shop floor
-Train suppliers and internal staff in the LEAN tools & Mindset
-Drive specific Lean projects at the suppliers to achieve committed savings and realize identified opportunities for improvement at Suppliers
-Collaboration with supplier and ensuring they take ownership and drive the LEAN agenda
-Aligning the local LEAN practice with LEGO standards
-Drive waste elimination in key processes at the suppliers
-Report relevant KPIs related to the suppliers' improvement progress
-Work together with internal teams towards a sustainable supplier platform
Position Requirements:
-University Degree in Engineering/ Manufacturing or related discipline
- 7+ years experience in Lean implementation at production shop floor, with 3+ years experience in multinational corporate
-Experienced project management, and an experienced change agent with focus on Productivity increase/cost reduction and leadtime improvement projects without compromising the Quality level
-Strong interpersonal, facilitation and coaching skills
-Fluent English is a must
-Willingness to travel
