Job Summary:

The China IT Manager will serve as a hands-on technical leader within the LitePoint Asia IT organization. The China IT Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining technology solutions to support LitePoint Asia offices in China, Taiwan, Japan, and Korea. He / she will liaise with local business stakeholders for technology requirements and ensure optimal day-to-day IT operations. As a technical leader, the qualified candidate must have in-depth technical knowledge needed to lead a technical team and strong project management experience to implement IT projects across multiple geographies and time zones.

Duties and Responsibilities:
? Provide hands-on technical leadership to implement storage, virtualization, and failover technologies to support Engineering development requirements
? Provide hands-on technical leadership to architect and optimize LitePoint Asia WAN/LAN infrastructure for voice/data communications and information delivery
? Provide process and thought leadership to ensure 24x7 IT infrastructure availability and drive customer service oriented execution culture
? Collaborate with LitePoint US IT organization to enforce LitePoint Information Security Policy and safeguard company source code and intellectual properties.
? Mentor IT technical staff members in system management methodology and institute standard operating procedures to ensure the integrity, reliability and recoverability of IT systems and applications
? Act as a project manager for internal IT initiatives. Manage IT projects from start to finish based on system development life cycle methodology. Facilitate communications and status update for the implementation team and stakeholders
? Proactively gather feedback (demands, issues, etc.) from the user community and evangelize IT solutions to solve business requirements
? Actively liaise with business leaders to ensure that service levels are being met and user expectations are anticipated and proactively managed
? Participate globally in continual improvement for overall IT service delivery. Identify and propose solutions for areas of risk and exposure
? Manage relationships with all systems partners and 3rd party vendors, including negotiation and authorization of hardware, software and service acquisitions, support contracts, and service level agreements
? Responsible for the preparation of long-range IT infrastructure plans and assure that they are in concert with business objectives and goals while ensuring a stable / reliable platform


Technology Qualifications and Experience:
? Must have University or College degree in Computer Science or related field and experience
? Must have 10+ years’ experience in Information Technology field
? Must have CCNA, CCNP, and MSCE or similar technical certifications
? Must have: Experience with VMware, ESX, Network Access Control, Net App, VM, Citrix and SAN/NAS storage solutions
? Must have: Expert knowledge of Windows AD system administration and Windows networking (DHCP, DNS, and WINS) and Windows multi-domain architecture and domain security. The ability to write scripts in Power Shell is a big plus.
? Must have hands-on design, administration, and implementation experience with Citrix and VMware technology solutions, including hosted VDI, ZenApp server, and published on-demand applications
? Must have: experience with Microsoft Windows System Management and Monitoring tools (i.e. Kaseya, Big Fix…)
? Must Have: Experience supporting R&D source code control & bug tracking systems such as Subversion, CVS, Confluence, Jira ,Visual Studio, and Solid Works.
? Highly desirable: hands-on design, implementation and administration, experience with HP or Cisco routers, switches, and Sonic Wall firewalls.
? Highly desirable: In-depth working knowledge of networking equipment and technologies such as: Switches, Routers, Servers, UPS/Cables, Racks, Firewalls, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, VoIP, QoS , BGP, MPLS, T1, ATM, DS3, LDAP, IPS, IPSEC, VPN, RAID, iSCSI etc.
? Highly desirable: proven experience in global VPN, WAN, LAN design & implementation, including ability to evaluate and assess ISP and carrier service offerings, technology products, and SLA
? Highly desirable: proven experience in implementing information security projects involving NAC, IPS/IDS, DLP, or CMP, Firewall technologies
? Highly Desirable: Familiarity with RSA server, tokens, and 2 factor authentications terminology. Working Knowledge of IP based PBX such as Asterisks, evolution, Digium….

Management Qualifications and Experience:
? 3+ years of manager level responsibilities with IT staff members at different locations
? Proven track record for large scale IT system implementation. Must demonstrate project management knowledge & system development life cycle methodology
? Experience with US IT SOX control and audit compliance.
? Ability to work with international IT teams and facilitate alignment for global IT project implementation across multiple time zones,
? Strong leadership skills. Technology-minded but also a analytical thinker with ability to influence others for consensus building
? Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills
? Ability to liaise and present to senior management as well as users at all levels of the company
? Ability to drive change and inspire innovation. Tact and diplomacy in dealing with confidential information
? Ability to offer common sense solutions to complex technical issues
? Proactive, can-do attitude
