Job Purpose:
Design and develop manufacturing processes for new products, product changes and enhancements to maximized production throughput andcycle time reduction.
Application of lean manufacturing concepts and assembly process improvements to plan and schedule projects in a manner consistent with corporate objective.
Provide engineering support to production department in troubleshooting, resolving technical problems and feedback for defect..
Prepare and evaluate mechanical construction layout, tooling / sheet metal drawings and model documentations.
Re-engineer / Follow up and Evaluate mechanical piece part manufacturing programs. Support prototype and pilot production of new products, product changes, and enhancements in coordination
Bill of Material preparation in conjunction with the engineered module, including detail information of commercial items and machining parts.
Support purchasing which are involved in cost down, vendor development & quality approval.
Complete accurate and timely manufacturing documentation including manufacturing procedures, materials records, etc.

Role Requirements:
To designing and developing new/upgrade equipment production for manufacture in China operations, generate accurate Bill of Material (BOM) and Production drawings as required for purchasing and production.
Assist on Working Instruction development, translation (bilingual) and maintenance. Detail information input into Bill of Material for use as reference list for related vendor and technical information gather from standard part manufacturer.
Provide interface among OKI Headquaters, DET China and Local sub-contractors to convey necessary technical information to ensure product specifications are achieve. At the sametime developing suitable manufacturing processes and methods to improve production yield and cycletime.
Participate in newly developed parts/modules assembly/components quality testing and evaluation. Prepare, co-ordinate and manage of new/existing machines drawings between OKI HQ and China.
Co-ordinate with production and local supplier for various product documentation/manual preparations and ensure with latest updated copy always. Assist in managing & ensure supplier with a latest version of ECN and being implement in time
To trouble shoot if any production technical issue when required. Design jig & fixture for line efficiency, product quality & safety working condition improvement.

Personal Requirements:
Bachelor of Engineering Degree, major in Mechanical / Megatronic or equivalent. Must possess a minimum of 3 years experience of engineering field and with 2 years exposure and practical experience in Mechanical Designing, Production/Process/Test Engineering or related disciplines.
Excellent Solidworks skill.
Sound knowledge in sheet metal tooling, plastic mold and die cast mold.
Sound knowledge in common metal work surface finishing and treatment, such as anodizing / zinc plating and hardening, etc.
Capable of interpreting engineering drawing and specification as required (English & Mandarin), including knowledge in geometry tolerance and symbol understanding. ·
Excellent computer skill to include working knowledge of Word Processing, Excel spreadsheet, Power Point presentation and related application.
Experience of working in MNC environment or with English speaking personnel.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skill. Individual should be a highly motivated, who is committed to professional standards and performance.
