Description and Essential Functions:

The RF manufacturing engineer will be responsible for input on product design, developing manufacturing processes and for continuous improvement in product cost, quality and first pass yield.
Familiarize self with the customs, procedures, policies and processes of the Engineering and Manufacturing Departments.
Provide technical support to design to improve manufacturing efficiencies, assuring that products can be built efficiently and economically. 
Review and seek cost reduction on existing products.  . 
Create cost justifications and budgets for projects. 
Continually focus on research and development of new products, technologies and processes. 
Quickly and efficiently ensure assembly fixtures, manufacturing equipment, and processes are in place for initial product production and that the affected personnel are clear on requirements and suitably trained.   
Prepare written reports and instructions as required. 
Follow all policies and procedures of the Company in the course of duties assigned, while conducting yourself in an ethical, safe, and professional manner. 
All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ø  Electrical engineering degree or extensive equivalent experience and knowledge in RF engineering and manufacturing. Masters degree desirable.
Ø  Extensive successful experience in a fast pace RF manufacturing environment.
Ø  Demonstrate computer fluency on current company software packages, current CAD, NT and Solidworks and RF modeling software.
Ø  Able to develop and redesign existing product lines for improvement in cost, quality and manufacturability.
Ø  Capacity to be patient, supportive and familiar with skills sets of manufacturing employees.
Ø  Demonstrated experience in project management.
Ø  Ability to master full working knowledge of in-depth product line, processes, COGS, and labor as it pertains to the company output.
Ø  Developed analytical, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Ø  Supervisory capacity to direct and support growth of technician staff in a manner conducive of positive recruitment and retention efforts.
Ø  Ability to follow and communicate intricate, verbal and written specifications.
Ø  Demonstrated proficiency in grammar, diction and presentation skills.
Ø  Successful time management, prioritization, cost justification and budgeting, and organization capabilities.
Ø  Knowledge of interpersonal communication, rapport building, teamwork and follow through.
Ø  Ability to coordinate multiple activities and project variety simultaneously with a fast pace.
Ø  Ability to become proficient in industry standards.
Ø  Ability to travel to locations designated by management as needed.  Included in this will be the ability to obtain appropriate and valid passports, visas, and finance means prior to reimbursement if necessary.
Ø  Ability to communicate with customers, potential customers, co-workers, vendors, management and business contacts in a pleasant, professional and respectful manner.
Ø  Ability to work with minimal supervision and a mode of self-motivation while maintaining the responsibility to indicate areas of need to management.
