Main duties and responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

? Leadership of new business development projects within THD business unit working in close co-operation with marketing and SBU management.
? Responsibility for identifying new business in corporate and local focus areas including, initiating contact and vision building with key players in new market segments
? When new focus areas are identified, to work closely with global competences to develop a good understanding of the application and where LINAK adds value (Start up application champion)
? When identifying new customers (where we have new opportunities) it is the responsibility of the Business Development manager to network through the customer organization to promote LINAK value.
? Working with local sales engineer to help start up projects in new focus areas.
? Support SBU management in identifying new market segments particularly in China
? Co-operate with LINAK A/S BEM teams and LCN Market analysis team to qualify information
? Support LINAK Marketing in developing appropriate material to demonstrate value proposition of LINAK.
? Travel and support appropriate exhibitions focused on new business areas
? Visit identified opportunities to create vision with new opportunities

Required skills/capabilities:

? A degree in Mechanical or Electric / Electronic Engineering is preferred
? Have a very high degree of self motivation.
? Speak English and Chinese fluent, oral and written.
? Have min. 2 years experience with customer contact in an engineering industry.
? Be able to establish long term interpersonal relations.
? Have understanding of international business.
? Are a good communicator.
? Be energetic, loyal and structured.
