MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1)Lead a team of sourcing associates and set up categories supplier strategy to support merchandising strategies and operational excellence

2)Proactively identify import business opportunities to drive private label growth, margin enhancement / cost out, and promotional opportunities

3)Work closely with Product Development Merchants on product development

4)Forms and leads cross-functional teams stay on supplier compliance and improvement on quality, SER and operations

5)Develop new Asia suppliers and factories to meet sourcing needs

6)Quarterly business review with key suppliers including product, fulfillment, quality and scorecard

7)Develop risk mitigation strategies for supported categories

8)Provide directions and guidance to the sourcing team on department priorities and key deliverables

9)Deliver product and business review presentations on a regular basis to senior management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

1)MBA or Master's Degree in Supply Chain/Operations/Finance or equivalent

2)Prior buying or product development experience in Bath and Plumbing industry and able to learn new things on the fly.

3)Knowledge of retail markets and strong sense of product innovation and creativity

4)Business acumen and strategic thinking skills

5)Strong project management skills

6)Proven ability to analyze, evaluate and interpret complex data

7)Excellent communication skills; verbal written and able to communicate globally

8)Strong Capability to lead, influence and manage business partners and direct/indirect groups of associates

9)Ability to lead and manage process improvement efforts
