General Description:

Working on a client’s site, the Marketing Coordinator – MNC spreads existing Education & Awareness material (Security related) as well as developing new E& A materials for use in various sites throughout the region.

Main Responsibilities:

- Work with regional internal & external Global Security customers to identity communications gaps & create project plans to eliminate those shortfalls.

- Determine project requirements & develop site specific marketing strategies around the deployment of new messaging.

- Manage and implement E&A programs/ sessions/ trainings at multiple sites across a wide geographic region.

- Work with the Global E&A Team to carry out branding for new marketing designs.

- Assist the Senior Regional Security Manager & Regional Security Advisor in the maintenance & development of messaging & communications strategies.

- Develop “brown bag” sessions on particular Global Security subjects and assist the Regional Security manager & other stakeholders in presenting those subjects.

- Assist in the development of site specific campaigns focused on increasing security awareness.

- Deal with authorities, executives, client, staff & the public for Security issues.

- Deliver oral presentations & host group meetings.

- Manage deliver of complex projects/programs through to conclusion.

- Identify ways to publicizes Security “Best Practice”.

- Assist emergency response teams in communicating to internal & external stakeholders.

- Additional tasks & functions as assigned for the position.

Requirements:

- Bachelor degree or above.

- Above 5 years working experience, experience of working within a large regional or corporate/subsidiary environment is desirable.

- Minimum 3 years Education / training or Marketing experience.

- Clear & demonstrated understanding of communications strategies & marketing Techniques.

- Significant experience in Journalism, communications or marketing, project management.

- Strong cross-group collaboration & relationship management skills.

- Strong computer skills required. Must be proficient in the use of the Microsoft products (EG: Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint etc.)

- Demonstrated project management & problem solving skill.

- Planning, organizing & leadership skills.

- Effective leadership skill and collaborate with project teams.

- The ability to think strategically & develop actionable plans for execution.

- Action oriented with a passion for getting the job done quickly & effectively.

- Strong customer service & service delivery orientation.

- Ability to interact at varied social levels and across diverse cultures in the region.

- Ability to facilitate progressive change.

- Ability to organize & coordinate multiple deliverables concurrently.

- Strong ability to maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, client, staff & the public.

- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality in the handling of sensitive, propriety & confidential information.

- Ability to read & interpret reports & financial data including related computer use.

- Willingness to respond on an ‘on-call’ basis to emergencies/incidents at all hours.

- Ability to deliver oral presentations & host group meetings.

- Frequent travel may be a requirement of the position as well as vehicle usage.

- Fluency (both oral & in writing) in English and Mandarin. The ability to converse & write in Cantonese is desirable, but not essential.
