Responsibilities:
*Project and Resource management for over 100 simultaneous projects and responsibility for a team of 100 engineers and support staff. Role mainly encompasses Project and Resource management,
*Working with the conceptual, implementation and NPI teams to complete product definitions, creating feasibility studies, optimizing the utilization of resources and ensuring delivery on time,
*Finding the balance between on-going support of released products and the development of new products,
*Establishing strong communication with Sales and Manufacturing departments,
*Increasing overall productivity, providing motivation and building skills and technical knowledge of the team through classes, seminars, inter-departmental training, communication and one-on-one support,
*Managing the RnD organization with emphasis on the China-based engineering team.

Main functions:
*Managing a multi-national RnD organization to design new products from concept to mass production,
*Establishing product development processes and providing technical leadership to all Engineers,
*Participating in concept reviews and to helping complete Product Requirement Documents,
*Developing departmental goals, technology road maps, determining resource requirements, building competencies and managing budgets,
*Facilitating communication between various RnD groups worldwide,
*Managing RnD employment reviews, promotions, and human resources developments.

Requirements:
*BSEE is a must and MSEE or higher degree is high priority,
*Strong organizational and leadership skills,
*Good communication in Chinese and English with deep knowledge of Chinese and Western cultures,
*Minimum of 10 years of project management with preferred hardware/software design experiences in electronic industry, *Engineering Management experience in China preferred,
*High level of flexibility to adapt to frequent priority changes.
