Responsibilities:

-Responsible to Product Quality Improvements until the normal manufacturing stage and End of Life of the products at our HDD manufacturing plant.

-Responsible to work and coordinate with HGSP internal department as well as Suppliers, Design center team (Fujisawa) on related Process/Operation improvements.

-Responsibility for Product Quality Monitoring, Conduct a linkage between MFG and Dev site, driving improvement actions & requirements to ensure Product Quality meeting all customer requirements with CLCA implementation.

-Facilitate and chair periodic quality improvement meetings with related departments on all related actions to CIP.

-Work closely among inter-sections and inter-department to ensure committed schedules actions plan are met in a timely and effectively manner.

-Responsibility to monitor and ensure any Components/Process/Operation/Contamination level changes through PEN/PEN-C/Trial impact to Product Quality level.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mechanical or Mechanics Engineering or related field.

Preferably with at least 5 years working experience in Quality Assurance and at least 3 years in a HDD manufacturing environment.

-Familiar with HSA and HDD manufacturing processes especially on In Process Quality & Clean Room Protocol requirements.

-Familiar with HDD manufacturing floor information system and control.

-Familiar with Quality Management System, ISO 14000/18000 and CSR/SER/EICC requirements

-Familiar with product safety requirements of HDD and other WW certification.

-Knowledge and application of ISO 9001 Quality Management System, Quality Tools like Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Design of Experiment (DOE) or its equivalent. Knowledge of Six Sigma or Six Sigma Black Belt will be added advantage.
