Firmware Engineer
Job Descriptions
Define and present product and platform specifications and features.
Ensure that designs meet established specifications, cost, timeline and development budgets.
Embedded system firmware development for real time multimedia applications
FW code reviews. Design FW architecture. Ensure FW to be scalable, portable and testable.
Ensure good documentation of FW as well as version control.
Manage project scope and risks.
Manage internal and outsourced development efforts.
Troubleshoot and analyze technical problems and recommend solutions.
Collaborate with marketing and technology teams and participate in project reviews.
Requirements:
At least 5 years experiences in direct firmware design & development.
Understanding of embedded system architecture.
Understanding of microprocessor/DSP architecture and real time FW design and development.
Understanding of hardware design at component and circuit level.
First hand experiences of audio/video codec, signal processing or computer vision is a strong plus.
First hand experiences with various sensor (audio/video/dimensional) driver is a plus
Direct OS/Kernel design and BSP development experience is a plus
Knowledge of USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi protocols is a plus.
