ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provides required reporting for NPI programs related to costs, risk, inventory, and others as needed
2. Collection & analysis of quotations across multiple commodities
3. Data entry & tracking for various aspects related to product cost, materials pricing, supply chain risks, and risk mitigation
4. Execution of the LOA process to pipeline raw material at various suppliers which enables quick-turn fabrication in support of NPI programs
5. Ensures First Articles are driven to closure for NPI programs
6. Performs critical tasks related to Supply Chain risk identification & mitigation for NPI programs


SKILLS:
1. Thorough understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and basic planning, procurement, & logistics functions
2. Excellent judgment and initiative, including the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
3. Ability to present ideas in a clear manner, both orally and in writing and (in both English & Mandarin if located in China)
4. Ability to effectively generate, interpret and summarize statistical reports
5. Excellent computer skills: accurate data entry, experience with ERP systems such as SAP, and strong skills with the MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Intermediate Excel skills required including the ability to effectively utilize functions such as data filters, to use formulas such as vlookup, to create & manipulate Pivot Tables, and to generate effective charts & graphs
6. Strong organizational skills
