POSITION SUMMARY:
The Applications Security Analyst oversees and supports the Compliance and corresponding security requirements of key applications, especially SAP. The analyst enforces day-to-day security needs, ongoing process improvement and implementation of new compliance requirements. The Business Analyst is a liaison between business areas and the IT organization; sets customer expectations, communicates effectively with the business and technical teams and provides timely status updates.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Create and Maintain user Roles and Authorization profiles maintaining users in central system by using Central User Administration (CUA), monitoring user logins, user sessions, restricting default login in instance parameter file, troubleshooting user level problems to properly access the servers.
2.Maintain users and roles in ECC, BW / BPC, SolMan, PI, and Enterprise Portal.
Design, implement and maintain appropriate security throughout the SAP landscape and other critical applications like SalesForce.com and Astea.
3.Troubleshoot SAP security errors efficiently and accurately.
4.SAP security remediation for all corporate governance, and segregation of duties related projects and ongoing maintenance in these efforts.
5.Perform licensing audits using the License Administrators Workbench
6.Set up users in SAP Service Marketplace.
7.SAP GRC Access Controls v5.3 and 10.0 implementation and/or upgrade experience.
8.Experience in SAP GRC modules RAR, SPM and CUP essential
9.Maintain SAP and other application security policies and documentation.

2.Extensive knowledge required on Administration on SAP R/3 ECC 6.0, CUA
3.Extensive knowledge required on Authorization Object maintenance, Authorization issues
4.Extensive knowledge required on GRC CUP Tool Administration on both version 5.3 and 10.0
5.Extensive knowledge required on GRC RAR Tool Administration on both version 5.3 and 10.0
6.Worked with Fire Fighter (Optional)
7.Ability to communicate effectively.
8.Ability to solve problems.
9.Ability to work in a team environment.
10.Understanding of relational databases.
11.Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding environment.
12.Understanding of ERP systems
