Under the direction of the COO and Managing Directors, the Vice President of Operations assists in management of operations and implementation of policies, procedures and work direction. The ideal candidate will have the ability to set performance goals, manage staff level employees and Tier 2 level managers, provide direction for the department and have the knowledge to oversee branch level responsibilities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

1.Create and execute systems for performance measurement and evaluation
2.Cultivate high performance through cyclical periods of workload volume (high and low seasons) through effective management
3.Responsible for the development and management of integrated, strategy aligned departmental work plans
4.Responsible for managing initiatives that will positively impact the department goals
5.Improve processes and management methods to generate higher profit/production and optimal workload conditions
6.Responsible for the development and management of staff members, Tier 1 and Tier 2 level management personnel
7.Additional responsibilities as assigned

Experience and Skills:

1.Demonstrated leadership in previous positions desired
2.Proven management and supervision experience (Staff level-Tier 2 level Management)
3.Ability to empower, develop and motivate management and staff level employees
4.Experience managing, developing and overseeing departmental performance measurements
5.Customer oriented, with the ability to streamline processes and procedures
6.Experience reporting to and working with executive level management

Qualifications and Requirements:

1.Minimum of 8+ years of senior level management experience (VP, Director, Managing Director) overseeing a back-office financial operations environment
2.BA/BS degree or higher in a related field, preferably Finance, Business Management or Business Administration
3.Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/Power Point)
4.Knowledge of the financial services industry; knowledge of the forex industry a plus
