MCU Apps. Senior Support Engineer

Responsibilities

· Provide the technical interface to customers and sales force during prospecting, evaluation, design-in and post-sales phases. Develop related technical presentations.

· Provide training and demonstration of products and tools to Atmel and distributors FAEs and customers. Develop training materials including presentations, hands-on practices and quizzes.

· Assist Product Engineering in the analysis of field returns (FA and RMA).

· Contribute to improving customer satisfaction and the Application Engineering team efficiency through developing and maintaining Application Notes, Frequently Asked Questions, AT91 portal, e-Learning Modules, Webinars, etc.

· Contribute to ecosystem build-up through working with communities, universities, profitable and non-profitable institutions, business partners, etc.

· Support marketing programs like conferences, seminars, symposiums, tradeshows, etc.

· Understand customer applications and play a key role in feeding back market needs to the marketing organization.

· Provide a consistent interface into other teams within company to ensure customer needs are met.

Mandatory Skills

· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, in both Mandarin and English.

· Must have practical knowledge of developing hardware and software solutions for embedded applications (C embedded programming).

· Must be a self-starter with the ability to proactively propose technically competent solutions. The candidate must be result oriented and can manage time efficiently.

· Preferred industry experience in semiconductors, embedded applications or microcontrollers.

· Preferred willingness and availability to travel.

· Preferred capability to work in an international environment.

• English fluent - conversation, reading and writing.

Education

Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering

Experience

Minimum 4 years experience in application development and/or customer support in a high technology environment.

Experience with customer interaction would be also appreciated.
