职位描述
Reporting: Global Head of Supply Chain
Work Location: Shanghai
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the Supply Chain in Asia Pacific to plan and deliver the budget volumes in cost, quality and time and at the same time meeting all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) targets.
- Manage the regional Supply Chain by driving operational excellence in terms of customer service achievement with Fully Confirming Deliveries and working capital.
- Drive further customer focus and SBU alignment throughout the regional organization.
- Deliver identified regional supply chain & logistics savings and set continuous improvements targets for further cost, working capital and capital reduction.
- Provide strategic supply chain management advice on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and major capital expenditures engaged in by the company.
- Ensure full compliance with Corporate standards and reporting procedures in the area of supply chain operations.
- Encourage and drive local and regional initiatives to improve the EHS performance and behavior, both within the BU’s materials supply chain activities, as well as with 3rd party logistic service providers.
- Determine and implement the Supply Chain Strategy for the Region.
- Fully responsible to handle and direct the process of supply chain properly.
- Deliver the product exactly as designed to the clients after determining their needs.
- Require to make clients, line managers as well as with the entire team to understand the needs and objectives by maintaining the effective relationship..
- Focus in reducing the cost by finding new means legitimately with great familiarity.
- Develop and implement the long term goals to ensure efficiency.
- Work as a mentor towards the subordinates in all the departments with their work.
- Guide the team members and staff properly in their work as well.
- Ensure that the financial objectives or goals set by the firm are met properly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree with major in Logistics Management or SCM or relevant discipline
- Over 15 years in Supply Chain Management with reputable or sizeable MNCs and at least 5 years at senior management level preferred
- Working experience in Chemicals or Electronics industries with regional exposure is advantageous
- Very good communication skills including fluency in English and Putonghua
- Able to take up heavy traveling
