Candidates for this position should have a strong interest in supporting enabling software technology for RETl BSEE,MSEE,CSEEorMS Physics or Physical Chemistry required. MSEE’s and PhDs are encouraged to apply
Minimum 3+ yr experience in IC physical verification or lithography,such as:
Set-up of modeling with Calibre's Optical Proximity Correction (OPC) and other(RET) Resolution Enhancement Technologies
Strong scripting skills in CAD environments,such as Perl,Tcl/Tk
Familiar with Mask Data Preparation flow
Familiar with Calibre Design Rules Checks(DRC)rule writing and Standard Verification Rule Format (SVRF) rule languages
AE experience or CAD experience in physical verification or mask data preparation
Implement rule-based or model-based OPC
Familiar with physical verification tools
Candidates should have a working familiarity of Unix and Linux OS
Strong customer interaction skills
A team player as well as independent worker


We are looking for additions to our AE team of AE Consultant for the Calibre Resolution Enhancement Tools to support our rapid growth. The role of an RET AE Consultant at Mentor involves supporting OPC and Advanced RET technology deployment at leading edge foundries. The RET AE Consultant position provides an extraordinary opportunity to help define and support the development of enabling RET capabilities for next generation lithography processes. The role responsibilities include providing in-depth technical support and training to our customers, defining and characterizing new capabilities, supporting research partnerships, and working closely with factory to communicate the value and benefits of new features and capabilities.
Work with the semiconductor industry’s leading firms by leveraging your verification and lithographic experience
Work closely with the customers to address their needs utilizing the Calibre OPC/RET(Resolution Enhancement Tools)product line of design to-silicon software products & services
Deliver and conduct technical presentations, demo and training
Provide evaluation and benchmark support, and support initial customer deployment
Knowledgeable to identity bottlenecks and work around
Analyze Customer applications to determine if technical support fitexists,and recommend solutions to issues with products or application integration
Establish close relationship with customers to help facilitate achieving sales objectives and to provide ongoing services
Support the adoption,proliferation and successful production deployment of Calibre products in the design to mask production flow
