Job Description *
Responsibilities:
Identify Six Sigma opportunities and oversee implementation within the Multek China factories to meet corporate business objectives Monitor all Six Sigma project activities and identify metrics to track progress and validate Six Sigma results in terms of tangible and intangible benefits
To mentor multiple Six Sigma projects and assist with the implementation of quality initiatives across the company's operations.
To inculcate the Six Sigma culture into everyday work practices and to drive quality management performance from policy initiation to implementation and execution.
Identify and work to remove barriers that slow or prevent the successful attainment of process/productivity improvement and administrative efficiency that will lead to cost reduction and competitive analysis
To collaborate closely with the senior management team to focus on critical business goals to which the Six Sigma methodology can be applied and co-ordinate Six Sigma project activities to deliver measurable bottom-line results.
Job Requirements *
Education:
At least a Bachel or Professional degree in Engineering field Preferably a MBA graduate or currently pursuing a MBA though not a must
Experience/Skills:
Strong knowledge and proven track record in the use of statistical and problem-solving tools towards process improvements
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience with a manufacturing environment/operations.
Preference will be given to candidates with managerial experience in quality management.
Work experience in PCB manufacturing is advantageous but not necessary.
Good interpersonal relationship with outstanding negotiation, analytical and problem solving skills
Experience in coaching/teach large classes
To demonstrate several years track record of effectively delivering bottom-line results from the application of similar Six Sigma methodologies.
The individual is expected to demonstrate outstanding interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills, strong mentoring and leadership skills and prior exposure to handling change management.
Results-oriented with capability to drive and motivate members to work effectively and innovatively
Strong communication and presentation skills, fluent in both English and Mandarin
