Roles and Responsibilities
? Facilitate development and on-going completion of equipment maintenance strategies for existing instrumentation and electrical control equipment
? Provides technical assistance to plant requests for electrical equipment problems in analyzing and resolving reliability issue.
? Facilitate formal Root Cause Analysis of selected equipment systems to develop and implement solutions to address and/or prevent unplanned failure
? Assure accuracy of CMMS system including functional location hierarchy and equipment / bill of material.
? Provide subject matter expert support to maintenance organizations for precision repair and configuration of electrical and controls systems including PLC, variable frequency drives, various field instrumentation for level, temperature, pressure, proximity measurement and control
? Supports electrical system engineering design reviews, evaluations and safety studies.Provide reliability expertise during small project design, construction, startup and operation.
? Leads electrical hazards analysis and provides hands-on electrical engineering procedures and documents.
? Assists the sites in analysis and optimization of spare parts stocking strategies with the objective of optimizing availability
Experience
? At least 8+ years experience in heavy duty industry such as Petro-Chemical or mining as electrical engineer resources for operation, reliability, maintenance, or project
? Successful track record in applying a sound knowledge of electrical engineering standards and statutory requirements, and capability to support operations, production, maintenance, and project teams in enhancing asset performance
? Knowledge of engineering reviews, other safety studies and hazardous area classifications
? Experience in RCM, RBI, TPM is an advantage
? Experience of electrical equipment design is a plus
Qualifications
? Bachelor’s Degree / Electrical Engineering
? Minimum 5years of reliability and maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment
? Minimum 5 years of experience supporting PLC systems, VFD, DCS etc.
? BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with higher level degree an advantage
? Fluent in English and Mandarin both speaking and writing.
