NPI项目质量工程师(世界500强公司，负责五金，塑料等工具产品的NPI项目管理，产品验证工作)
DEPARTMENT: Diversified Brands Division
REPORTS TO: Technical Manager DBD R&D
POSITION SUMMARY:
The position is responsible for leading Diversified Brands Technical efforts in China / Asia during new product start up at a variety of partner manufacturing sites to deliver finished products that meet design and performance targets in a timely manner. This position will have responsibility for at least 1 engineer also based in China / Asia and extensive interactions with Global Procurement, Design Engineers and partners.
POSITION COMPETENCIES:
o Ability to assess partner manufacturers capabilities in quality systems, process controls and manufacturing capabilities
o Collaboration with partner manufacturers to adapt or create manufacturing systems to deliver products on target for performance, cost and quality
o Experience in manufacturing processes and quality systems to deliver products consistent with design, costing and availability parameters
o Familiarity with process controls, quality systems and system measurement techniques
o Understands technical terminology and applies technical skills to manufacturing processes
o Understands results of testing and can identify problems and opportunities for improvements
o Experience with R&D new product development process from concept to successful manufacturing / production
o Ability to utilize and calibrate variety of equipment and testing tools
o Ability to investigate & determine root cause of barriers before applying a solution and can anticipate consequences of decisions
o Hands on troubleshooting to solve manufacturing / design issues directly with the suppliers such as injection molding, metal forming or stamping process
o Prepare, maintain, or review validation and compliance documentation for tracking test results and quality systems
o Builds effective relationships and can communicate effectively with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and language skills
o Quick learner and the ability to learn how to operate equipment and perform tasks with on the job training.
o Ability to read / understand / revise engineering drawings utilizing software (CAD, Solid works) and assist with implementation to partner supplier
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors Degree？ in Engineering
Travel 70% international？required, including some
10+ years working engineering role or manufacturing environment related？experience in an directly to the launch of new products and designs
Bi-lingual good communication skills, both spoken and written？(English and Chinese) and
Demonstrated ce with Quality systems, sampling inspection and process controls in a？experien production environment
Ability to specifications and standards？interpret engineering
Geometric (GD？dimensions and tolerances&T)
Proven problem ？solving skills
Effectively e and document results and reports？organiz
