ROLE PURPOSE

· In charge of the team management of the purchasing department, establish the annual target, evaluate the performance

· In charge of the supplier management, regarding the supplier evaluation, price negotiation, deliver performance

· Establish and implement the purchasing strategy regarding the continuous development of cost down, local sourcing, deliver performance and inventory.

· Direct link to CF Purchasing regarding implementation of the global sourcing strategy, sourcing standards and tools.



ACCOUNTABILITIES:

· Evaluation, recommendation and implementation of potential suppliers.

· Negotiates competitive price and supplier contracts

· Coordination and leading of Kaizen workshops and CIP programs.

· Develops and maintains systems to support sourcing information needs

· Coordinates with cross-functional team in the selection of suppliers in the product development cycle.

· Coordination with all Dept. in company for development timing of new products and delivery of products for current items

· Develops a supply of the highest quality components based on the criteria of quality, delivery, technical capability and overall business relationships.

· Coordination, and lead supplier audits and the necessary actions after audits

· Supervises logistics of purchased items from suppliers to final destination and monitor schedules in SAP system

· Establishes best practices, risk assessment and management for new supplier and technology sourcing

· Monitors supply markets and evaluate how changes will impact supply and pricing conditions

· Manages and trains a team of purchasing staff.



Requirements on knowledge & skills:

· Knowledge: Bachelor/master academic degree in engineering major likes mechanical engineering, industry engineering, etc. Very good English (or German) in writing and speaking should be must

· Skill: At least 5-10 years related working experience in manufacturing branch. Management experience as team leader/manager will be advantage. Familiar with the SAP system or the similar ERP system. Very good knowledge about logistic/supply chain/cost analysis, etc. Open minded, teamwork spirit
