职位描述
Responsibilities:
- Own direct account management, driving the attainment of sales, market share objectives, develop and deliver strategic sales presentations, build solid customer relationships, and negotiate and close deals within Company guidelines;
- Researches various target markets and develops lists of potential target customers, reinforce a design-win culture with existing customers and new prospects;
- Maintain knowledge and expertise in relevant products and markets; monitor competitive activity and market trends; partner with Product Management & Applications Engineering to develop strategic and tactical response;
- Serve as initial point of contact on issues within the mainland China; coordinate evaluation and input from appropriate functional colleagues;
- Support core business processes including the cash call, monthly & quarterly operating reviews, and annual operating planning through forecasting effectiveness, sales reporting, and expense management;
- Play a key role in evaluating, managing, and refining the distributor / channel partner relationships
- Travel in mainland China to meet with potential and actual designated lighting customers for Industrial Applications; Attend on and/or visit relevant exhibitions, trade shows and conference in China. Team up with the local Applications Engineer to develop and follow up on Industrial Applications inquiries and opportunities.
Requirements:
(a) Sales Skills:
- Strong customer hunting sense. Ability to build a partnering culture with customers.
- Must have a demonstrated track record for sales leadership and exceeding sales targets.
- Must be able to manage extensive sales processes in complex customer organizations.
- 5+ years of optoelectronics/semiconductor sales experience with demonstrated knowledge of OEM sales in the optoelectronics or electronics components market as a solution provider.
- Distribution / sales representative experience.
(b) Technical Skills:
- Strong technical background in electrical / electronic engineering or physics.
- Ability to learn quickly
- Knowledge of niche lighting products and markets (IPL, Xenon, LED, Laser) a strong plus
(c) Communication Skills:
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to develop and deliver targeted presentations at all levels within an organization.
- Demonstrated interpersonal savvy with proven ability to build effective relationships throughout all levels internally and externally.
- Fluency in English language.
- Excellent communication skills (internal and external with customers).
(d) Leadership and Management of Resources:
- Ability to self-motivate and manage resources to achieve assigned objectives
- Demonstrated ability to be effective within a cross-functional environment.
