POSITION: Network Engineer

SUMMARY: The Network Administrator II is responsible for maintaining and monitoring of global telecommunications, voice and data network, and security of server and network infrastructure.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responding to tier 3 Help Desk tickets to ensure that customer needs are fulfilled in a timely manner. Escalate tickets as appropriate to other team members. Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.

· Configure and install Network, Voice and Security Infrastructure.

· Configure and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure that all systems are functioning normally.

· Provide technical support and guidance to Network Administrators.

· Troubleshoots network performance issues and create and maintain a disaster recovery plan.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Possesses basic project management skills.

· Experience working within a regionally disperse, multinational workforce.

· Experience supporting IT needs of a manufacturing environment.

· Skills in wireless, security and unified communication technologies.

· Proficiency in WAN optimization, VPN and MPLS technologies.

· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities.

· Possesses strong troubleshooting skills.

· Working knowledge and experience in ASA Firewalls, Tandberg VC, Steelhead and Active Directory Security.

· Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

· Ability and willingness to work with Global team.

· Team player with good verbal and written communication skills.

· Mentors junior staff on technical and analytical skills.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

· B.S in Computer Science or equivalent required. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

· 4-6 years of experience in Network Engineering or in a related area.

· Minimum CCNA and/or CCDA. CCNP or CCSP Preferred.
