Overview

Designs and analyzes printer and accessories mechanical systems and module. Conducts, engineering spec study, feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs, preparation of detailed design, design engineering testing and Direct DVT test, technical issue analysis, experiments, design documentation, Agile stuff. or Lead/manage/review/instruct ODM or design house engineer to complete above activities to ensure design quality and product quality.

Responsibilities

1. Develop new thermal printers and accessories from early concept to prototype to release to manufacturing.

2. Responsible for the design of the mechanical module/Parts, critical parameter analysis, and execution of the design and fabrication of parts to meet product specifications, design documentation generation.
负责设计机械模具/部件，关键参数分析，以及管理部件的设计和生产从而满足产品的规格，并建档。
3. Responsible for Problem analysis, solution, experiment to meet product spec.
分析并解决问题，做试验以符合产品规范。
4. Responsible for review/co-design the mechanical engineering team from the other development partners in Guangzhou and the US for the design and delivery of the new product to manufacturing.
负责检查/与广州其他部门的工程队同事合作设计，以及协同美国设计并生产新产品。
5. Responsible for the management of engineering work being delivered by external design services companies in support of a new product development in Guangzhou.
负责管理公司外部的设计公司的工程工作，支持在广州开发的新产品。
Qualifications

1. Strong English communication skills and ability to work well with US teams and within the US business culture.

2. Strong mechanical detailed design capability to meet the delivery, cost and quality requirements set by the engineering programs.

3. Strong mechanical system design skills - well versed in best in class engineering product architecture and design practices (montecarlo analysis, design of experiments, design for manufacturing/assembly/service and support, failure modes effects analysis etc.)

4. Have the similar product design experience for moving parts, cover set, User interface design consideration.

8. 5-7 years of new product development experience
