Job Description
- Responsible for technical support to Arrive Technologies customers when designing Arrive products into their systems. Responsible for technical support to potential customers when being introduced to Arrive's solutions in China.
- Technical responsibility of accounts in the territory
- Taking part in the project life cycle: definition, design, SW porting, reviews, and ongoing support.
- Perform product Demonstrations to customers.
- Prepare and deliver technical product and technology presentations/training
Participate actively in Pre-sales activities.
- Compiling, reviewing and editing technical documentation and reports.
- Extensive interface with Arrive R&D, as well as with Arrive's distributors and representatives in the territory.
- Able to maintain confidentiality consistent with industry practice and Non-Disclosure Agreements.
Job Requirements
- Extensive experience with system manufacturers equipment.
- At least 2 years of experience in Customer Support in the telecom field.
- Total of 7 years of experience, started as engineer (HW or SW).
- Wide knowledge with telecommunication protocols and clocking, like SONET/SDH, PDH, VCAT, HDLC/PPP, GFP, ATM/IMA Pseudowire, Carrier Ethernet.
- A MUST - excellent HW design and good SW understanding with system level orientation.
- Proficient with networking protocols and test equipment.
- Well familiar with wide range of Tier 1 companies (ZTE, Huawei, Fiberhome, Raisecom, etc.) and with Tier 2 companies.
- Strong customer Interaction.
- Strong presentation, oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to translate Chinese writing from customers into English when needed.
- Experience with working as part of a global team,
- Independent, self motivated, dedicated.
- Travel - high percentage of the time, sometimes with short notice. Travel to Vietnam for training from time to time.
Education
Minimum Bachelor in Science in Electrical Engineering
Language
Fluent in Chinese (speaking, writing, reading)
Fluent in English (speaking, writing, reading)
An advantage goes to any candidate that has some knowledge of Vietnamese.
