The Job:

The successful candidates will be responsible to provide consultancy services covering project implementation, post-production support and day-to-day operations on System and Database for mission-critical systems.

The successful candidate will have:

· Degree in IT/Engineering or related disciplines.

· Minimum 2 years experience in Oracle Database and MS SQL Server.

· Hands-on experience in database administration including installation, backup/restore, monitoring, performance tuning and troubleshooting.

· Minimum of 2 years solid experience in Redhat server project implementation, product upgrade and on-going support

· Hands-on experience in VMware ESX, vCenter, VM Cluster, vMotion, vKernel and Visualization project implementation, server migration and on-going support.

· Hands-on experience in HP Blade server, Blade switch, HP EVA SAN storage, HP StorageWork SAN switch, HP SIM and HP Command View

· Strong knowledge on system trouble-shooting, performance tuning, and shell script.

· Knowledge in Oracle RAC/Data Guard, MSSQL Mirroring is an advantage

· Knowledge in Window 2003/2008 server, Window Active Directory, MS ForeFront Server, MS Exchange server and sharepoint is an advantage

· Knowledge in Symantec Netbackup and Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) is an advantage

· Knowledge in experience on IIS, JBoss, WebLogic, Apache, Peoplesoft and ERP is an advantage

· Holder of Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or LPI is preferred.

· Holder of at least 1 vendor certification with Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator is preferred

· A team player with analytical and problem solving mind, self-motivation, good interpersonal skills
