Reports To: Program Manager
Essential Responsibilities:
. Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into functional solutions, support in all associated interactions
. Creating technical solutions, support and review effort estimations
. Work directly with developers and product managers to develop, build, test and release products
· Primary point of contact for off-shore team at India Engineering and Periodic status updates
· Participate in Issue identification and resolution by validating release packages on target
· Participate in System Testing and Vehicle Testing
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Engineering/Sciences or equivalent from premier institutes
· Technology Enthusiast with 8 years of overall work experience with a minimum of 4 years in automotive infotainment systems.
· Should be well versed with various concepts of Infotainment relating to Media, Tuner, Navigation, Bluetooth
· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to liaise with various departments at customer location and 3rd party vendors, Need to communicate with other component suppliers, like hardware, Bluetooth, DTV, Navigation, Voice recognition to explain and get issues resolved.
· Strong Object Oriented design & Methodologies and programming skills in C++ or alternatives
· Minimum Experience in development of Infotainment Product in areas of Media or Tuner or Navigation or Bluetooth or Connectivity
· Problem Solving, Ability to deal ambiguity, Time-boxing, Multi-task
· Good knowledge on Architectures, HMI Frameworks, Test Automation strategies
· Should be familiar with vehicle development cycles and worked in cross-functional/geographically diverse teams.
· Familiarity with change management, defect tracking, issue management
· Familiarity with various RTOS (e.g. OSEK, QNX, Linux, on ARM platforms)
· Willingness to work hands-on for supporting the offshore development team
· Experience with multi-process, multi-tasking or thread based embedded Operating Systems or equivalent

· Good understanding of infotainment domains
· Well organized, meticulous good at understanding the big picture.
· Strong team player with ability to handle multiple projects
· Self-motivated, results driven individual, passionate about technology.
Eligibility Requirements:
· Willingness to travel, the travel will be determined based on the project need.
· Willingness to work at customer location in China
· Willingness to submit to a background screen and a drug test
