Position: Mechanical Engineer -World Famous Manufacturing Company
Report to: Maintenance Manager
Subordinate: 0
Location: Shanghai

Summary of job content:
? To implement preventive maintenance to all the equipments and facilities for the purpose of improving equipments' availability and ensure deliver committed performance.
? To take part in breakdown maintenance and provide expertise and technical assistance to maintenance technicians for the purpose of ensuring smooth production.
? To pursue continuous improvement for equipment performance.

Responsibilities:
? To set up Preventive Maintenance system, such as PM Annual Schedule, PM checklists, PM Working Instruction and ensure well implemented.
? To take part in breakdown maintenance and detailed downtime analysis should be in place for each breakdown.
? To initiate heavy repair based upon equipment performance.
? To develop continuous improvement culture and increase the speed of learning and sharing, especially for lessons learned from breakdown, training to machine operators, and etc..
? To be responsible for mechanical spare parts purchasing with the consideration of inventory.
? To manage subordinates in terms of daily work arrangement, training, and etc..
? To develop partnership and resources, and ensure external service and technical support is available when in emergency.
? To take part in SGL Excellence and observe relevant rules and regulations, such as 5S, ESHA and etc..
? To support other maintenance members if needed.

Experience:
? College degree, major in mechanical design and manufacturing or equivalent
? 5 years in the field of machine tool.

Skills:
? Be familiar with machine tool mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and lubricating systems.
? Be familiar with machine tool precision inspection and adjustment.
? Rich knowledge and competence to solve machine tool mechanical failures.
? Have a good command of English.
? Good communication skills, especially for cross-functional communications.
