Position: Buyer
Report to: Asia Procurement Manager/ General Manger
Case-Mate is a high growth US-based company with operations around the world. We are seeking a Buyer to manage vendor relationships and daily purchasing activities. This position will be based in Shenzhen, China.

Responsibilities Include:

- Overall responsibility for the performance and output of assigned vendors
- Manage the on time delivery of tooling and production purchase orders
- Negotiate pricing with supplier for all purchase orders
- Prioritize production purchase orders based on customer requirements and business need
- Updated ETA’s daily in ERP system based on vendor on ship dates and open purchase schedules
- Maintain daily communication with vendors and notify accounting of outcome
- Seek out and evaluate new supplier relationships
- Additional purchasing responsibilities as needed

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Operations or related field
- 5-7 years of purchasing or sourcing experience with a consumer products company
- Excellent negotiating skills with knowledge of commodity pricing
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Experience working with ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, etc.)
- Energetic, highly self-motivated and able to work efficiently in a rapidly-changing environment
- Must speak and write English fluently
