Principle Tasks:
1. Operations site manager is responsible for managing all operations functions in Shenzhen, together with global function leaders
2. Site managers has solid line report of operations people on site, and is responsible for:
oExecution of business
oAchieve targets and metrics
oEmployees management
oTeam meetings & communication
oLiaison management between operations functions and other departments
3. Site manager has shared responsibility with global function leader on the following areas:
oResource planning, allocation and prioritization
oRisk Management and corrective actions
oEmployee Appraisal, staffing, promotions
oKPI and Target Fulfillment
4. Shenzhen is ADVA’s largest supply base, therefore site manager is also responsible for:
oManage relationship with suppliers in the area, and as escalation point and support for SCM issues, quality topics, and SP negotiations
oManage relationship with third party logistic supplier for Shenzhen II
5. Is part of global operations management team, participate weekly and on-demand global operations meetings/reviews, as well as participate global operation strategy set up/review

Other Duties:
oOther duties as required

Skills / Qualifications / Training / Experience:
Personal Skills:

6. Good English skills are a must

Qualifications:
1. In-depth knowledge of:
oSupply chain management
oManufacturing and test process
oQuality aspects manufacturing complex electronics and optical products
oProduct design gate control and new product introduction processes
2. Basic understanding of Technology / Electronics by education or acquired in similar setup within the high-tech industry
3. Bachelor degree or higher education
4. Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experiences
Experience:
5. Experience of managing a department within a manufacturing organization
6. Experience of new production introduction, and supplier management
