Job Description

1. To develop processes and to ensure a proper platform is put in place for the launch of new product initiatives in order to grow the Bank's share of wallet of the desired SME customer segments and to achieve the Bank's targets on customer satisfaction;

2. To continuously review and revamp existing processes, platforms and infrastructure owned by SME Banking during renewals or as and when required to (a)enhance our overall competitiveness in the market and (b) to comply with the regulatory requirements;

3. To work and align with various stakeholders involved in the end-to-end SME Banking owned processes and platforms;

4. To own and manage the service level metrics agreed with different stakeholders in the process/ platform design for the purpose of achieving reasonable turnaround time levels that meet with our customers'expectations.

5. To be responsible for defining, analyzing and re-engineering key business processes and procedures for SME Banking in line with customer and frontline feedback;

6. To lead the design of innovative processes that support delivery of differentiated customer experience;

7. To support the establishment of new processes in connection with new product launch;

8. To continuously review current processes using operational process improvement methodology and tools including but not limited to process mapping and analysis; root cause analysis; plan-do-check-action across all products/ functions within the value streams and drive continuous improvement discipline through standard workflow;

9. To ensure that the process and platform designs must comply with local and group compliance and regulatory standards, MLP policy, Group KYC risk base standards;

10. To drive effective and efficient cross departments and channels to ensure that processes are integrated across the business and adopted correctly;

11. To initiate, prepare and train functional work groups to ensure that they are competent with the business process flows, placing focus on quality customer service, control and cost containment;

12. To establish service level agreements, turnaround time, productivity and accuracy measures and ensure robust performance tracking and communication of benefits and results with supporting departments;

13. To build the culture and capability to support continuous process improvement within the business;

14. To communicate all new processes across the business effectively through different channels;

15. Must comply with respective Money Laundering Prevention Procedures and be alert at all times to unusual or possibly suspicious customer activity, and should report suspicious activity to the respective Unit Money Laundering Prevention Officer, line manager CMLPO.

Qualifications & Skills

1. At least 5-6 years of banking experience in sales management, product and process development, customer segmentation, banking processes & operations or compliance related positions;

2. Degree holder in business related disciplines preferred;

3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and negotiation skills;

4. Strong analytical capability and engagement to drive for delivery;

5. Proficient in spoken and written Chinese and English;

6. Experience in designing, development, running and putting process solutions/projects into execution;

7. Ability to work independently without close supervision;

8. Exposure to SME Banking products/ customers will be an added advantage.
