高级运输专员（北京零部件配送中心）Senior Specialist Transport (Parts Distribution Center Beijing)

Responsibilities:

Outbound Transport Organization
- Ensure parts delivery from BMW parts warehouse or from port of entry to dealers.
- Analyze the outbound lead-time from BMW parts warehouse or port of entry to dealer. Determine reasons for delivery delays and propose corrective actions to transport service providers in order to improve the delivery lead-time.
- Define hand-over procedures between warehouse and service provider as well as service provider to dealer.
- Define delivery schedules for new dealers (VOR, rush and stock order transport lead-time).
- Organize ad-hoc transport service if required.
- Ensure timely pick-up of goods at port of entry or at BMW parts warehouse by service provider.
- Organize warehouse to warehouse transportation.
- Updating of parts defined as local DG and maintaining in WIT system.

Return Transport Organization
- Organize return transports from dealers to BMW parts warehouses, if required for warranty parts, claim parts or stock buy-backs.

Transport Claim Processing
- Take care of all transport related outbound claims. Deal with whole claim process and settlement follow-up with service
providers, dealers, Aftersales Area Managers and insurance companies.
- Receive invoices from dealers for transport claims and arrange payment.
- Analyze root cause of claims and propose corrective actions to forwarders and warehouse service provider.

Packaging improvements
- Development of packaging solutions for distribution from RDC Beijing to the dealers considering packaging costs and times.
- Coordinate production & purchasing process of newly developed packaging materials with purchasing department and packaging suppliers.
- Coordinate implementation with Transport and Import Service Providers.
- Prepare Management reports to make improvements transparent.

Management Reporting
- Prepare on-time delivery reports for inbound and outbound.
- Prepare transport claim report.

Project Management
- Support and implement transport projects to further improve delivery service to BMW dealers (e.g. VOR weekend delivery service, DMDC concept, increment of stock order delivery frequency).
- Rate and service negotiation with service providers on the newly required services.
- Support transport tender process.

Co-ordination function Customer Service Team, Warehouse & Transport Service Provider
- Support customer service team on-site regarding warehouse service provider issues (e.g. identity control co-ordination).

Invoice verification
- Verify transport invoices against agreed contract rates. Point out incorrect billings.
- Arrange payment to forwarders upon receipt of invoices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor degree in Logistics or related area.
- Operational experience in transport, prefer the real job working experience in automotive industry.
- Experienced in automotive parts packaging/transport packing development is preferable.
- Strong analytical skills.
- High level of self motivation and self-initiative
- High level of communication skills with open mind
- Ability to cope with stress and willing to change
- Objective-oriented working methods
