职位描述
General Summary:
Serve as a remote team member in the MP/MG systems engineering and integration team for integrating & testing interactive services on the Media Player/Media Gateway (MP/MG) Products. This position includes but is not limited to integrating new products and features on this product at a product & systems level, assist with systems testing and automation of the test cases. Receive general instructions for assignments from a manager or a senior technical staff member and work independently to implement the assigned tasks. Meet with the manager or senior technical staff on a weekly basis.
Responsibilities:
Work as an independent contributor to the Systems Integration team in Shenzhen.
Integrate and test new features on the MP/MG Products.
Test New Applications built on the MP/MG Products
Test the interface of iPAD/iPhone and Andriod products to the MP/MG Products
Education:
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Equivalent.
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years experience in integrating computer architectures and data systems.
A minimum of a year experience with SoapUI or QUnit or JavaScript is required.
Linux experience is required
Experience configuring and trouble-shooting network component s is required
Experience with RF cable plants is a plus
Experience with interactive IPTV & RF cable systems & headends is a plus.
DOCSIS network experience is a plus.
Knowledge/Skills /Abilities:
Must be fluent in Chinese & English with good oral and written communications skills (CET 6 with a score above 400 is acceptable).
Must be able to communicate effectively across functional disciplines, organizational levels and facilities
Ability to adapt to quickly changing functional environment, manage workload and work independently as a team member.
