Job Title: Quality Manager

Reports To: Director, Asia Operation

(Functionally reports to US Quality Director)

Position Summary:

Support Global Sourcing and Procurement from quality perspectives. Lead Quality activities in Asia. Manage supplier compliance - product quality and social responsibility. Problem solving and continuous improvement.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Support Sourcing Strategy and Innovation

? Support Sourcing team in optimizing supplier assessment process and work flow.

? Manage supplier SQA and HR audit for new supplier qualification.

? Product quality evaluation for NPD projects and resourcing projects.

- Pre-shipment Inspection

? Work closely with 3rd party inspection in Asia and ensure pre-shipment inspection is arranged properly accordingly Focus procedure.

? Assure the latest specification is provided to 3rd party for inspection.

? Timely receive and review inspection reports.

? Timely communicate Corporate Quality leader for quality issues.

? Maintaining inspection data

- Supplier social Compliance

? Lead Quality Engineer in managing supplier social compliance.

? Follow up with suppliers for CAP when issue is found.

- Management

? Compile monthly supplier quality performance reports and defect/rejection analysis reports.

? Schedule and manage regular supplier SQA audit and HR audit

? Train and mentor QA engineer

? Provide guidance and training to office clerk in data recording and reporting.

? Maintain supplier metrics, scorecard

- Other quality related case study

- Perform other duties as required

Required Qualifications:

? Minimum Education: College

? Minimum years of Experience: 8

? Competencies:

? Over 8 years of experience in sourcing and export experience with a foreign company, at least 3 years management experience. Quality and supplier development experience is required.

? Experience in ISO9000 quality system and supplier social compliance requests.

? Familiar with ANSI/ASQC Z1.4-1993 (MIL-STD-105E) and/or Statistical Process Control

? Understand quality control and continuous improvement tools

? Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work well under pressure and travel as needed.

? Good interpersonal communication skill

? Good at written and verbal communication skills in English

? Initiative, self-organized, good learning skill, independent, self-motivated and Self-directed

? Strong leadership, organizational and supervisory skills

? Team player

? Excellent business ethics and integrity

? PC skill in Microsoft Office applications is must. High degree of expertise in use of Excel is highly desirable

? Kitchenware/houseware or small electric appliance sourcing/manufacturing experience is a plus.
