职位描述

JOB PURPOSE:

The Regional IBDM for Eastern/Northern China will work with Sales, Marketing and the Advanced Engineers is responsible for ensuring a high level of technical and product management and development within the listed functions to meet or exceed demand creation initiatives, design wins and sales for the franchised world class interconnect suppliers.


The IBDM will be the contact point for all interconnect initiatives within the customer base and will coordinate sales efforts between the field sales, direct sales, marketing and the AE’s.



  1. Customer and Sales Programs

    1. Work directly with outside/inside sales and direct sales for selling interconnect products.
    2. Execute on programs developed in conjunction with product marketing to grow interconnect sales.
    3. Recommend additions to the line card.
    4. Drive interconnect sales opportunities to closure
    5. Develop and expand customer base.
    6. Assist in the development and enhancement of relationships with supplier’s direct sales teams.
    7. Focus on a limited number of accounts at a time and focus on closing opportunities
    8. Drive all customer friendly programs to enhance the position with the customer





  1. Value Added Services

    1. Develop programs to increase Interconnect sales to all customers by offering and servicing Value Added requirements.
    2. Develop and execute programs, processes and SOPs to enhance fulfillment opportunities.
    3. Provide technical training and support to sales, marketing and the customer.
    4. Assist the inside and outside sales to increase interconnect sales
    5. Increase the exposure of sales, marketing & engineering to the suppliers.
    6. Measure sales and profitability for assigned interconnect territories.

  1. Supplier Interface

    1. Develop and nurture relationships with all Interconnect Suppliers within the region.
    2. Engage with all supplier product managers to gain an understanding of all products on the line card
    3. Ensure all inside/outside sales and marketing is being trained.
    4. Develop a sales plan to include all major suppliers within the assigned region to drive business growth
    5. Spearhead all supplier/sales QBR’s, enhance the process and assist in closing business opportunities.
    6. Develop and implement product training programs for sales, marketing and application engineering.
    7. Leverage supplier expertise to drive design wins.


  1. Communication, Learning and Development

    1. Coordinates supplier training where needed
    2. Enhances process to drive customer delight and reduces cost of doing business
    3. Is the go-to person in sales and maintains the status of interconnect authority
    4. Conduct “Lunch and Learns” at all assigned branches with focused suppliers

  1. Requirements

    1. Degree in engineering or business degree with electrical, electronics or industrial automation experience
    2. Minimum 5 years marketing, product or sales experience in interconnect, relay or industrial automation.
    3. Must have discipline to develop, execute and measure a sales and customer plan
    4. Must have the drive to grow sales in a difficult environment
    5. Must be motivated by a variable income component based upon the ability to increase sales and profit.
