A FMCG brand is looking for a Internal Audit (Assistant) Manager to manage the Internal Audit functions in China.

Position: PRC Internal Audit (Assistant) Manager
Report to: Group Internal Audit Director
This position will:
-Conduct continuous systematic review of key material financial, operational and compliance controls as well as respective risk management functions;
-Provide proactive, timely and cost effective internal audit services, including assurance and consulting to the Group; and
-Proactively identify, monitor and control risks.
-In addition to adding value through increased alertness, he/she should also strive to help auditees formulate practical and cost effective rectification actions as well as following up on a timely basis to ensure proper implementation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the provision of scheduled and unscheduled consulting services in the PRC; and
- Keep up to date with the latest development of PRC business environment, laws and regulations, accounting and audit standards, etc.
- As a field-in-charge of scheduled and unscheduled assurance reviews, he/she should be responsible for engagement planning, execution, and communicating the audit results.
- Assist in the performing of the department's ongoing quality assurance review to ensure that internal audit activities are in compliance with the professional standards adopted by the Group Internal Audit Department.
Requirements:
Qualification
-Degree in Accounting or Business (or equivalent);
-Qualified Accountant, preferably member of Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants ("CICPA"); and
-Certified Internal Auditor ("CIA") and/ or Certified Fraud Examiner ("CFE") preferred but not mandatory.
Working Experience
-4+ years of internal and/ or external audit experience;
-Knowledge and experience in manufacturing and Fast Moving Consumer Goods ("FMCG") preferred but not mandatory.
-Preferably knowledge and experience in C-SOX auditing and/ or advisory;
Competencies and Character
-Able to lead and manage an audit engagement;
-Able to handle assigned tasks from beginning to end and know when to ask for assistance;
-Exercise professional due care, be independent and objective;
-Self motivator who can work well alone and in groups;
-Mature, emotionally stable and detail oriented;
-Able to deliver under stress and meet deadlines;
-Willingness to travel (mainly in Guangdong province, or may be asked go to our overseas subsidiaries, Australia, Singapore & US, etc)
-Fluency in English and Putonghua.
