职位描述

Responsibilities:

Assists with the direction of maintenance operations so as to optimize manufacturing equipment utilization, insure the efficiency of operations and control maintenance costs.

? Reviews work orders and communication requirements to maintenance employees. Insure that repairs are completed in a timely manner.

? Monitors maintenance costs and develops methods to reduce or minimize controllable costs.

? Schedules assigned personnel to insure maintenance coverage for all manufacturing operations.

? Participates in production and other meetings to plan department operations and objectives.

? Provides support to process improvement projects and other equipment upgrades, replacements or relocations as required.

? Maintain electrical power supply house (including diesel generator), HVAC, compressed air, fire fighting and fire prevention systems, and hot oil boilers.

? Maintain building and grounds.

? Assist with organization and management of the plant security.

Ensures that preventive maintenance and other routine maintenance are performed in a timely manner.

? Analyzes work orders and other records to predict needed maintenance before equipment fails. Recommends appropriate actions to management.

? Schedules overhauls, preventive maintenance and other routine maintenance in consultation with production department and manufacturing engineers.

? Monitors spare parts inventories to insure that needed parts and equipment are available as required. Prepares purchase requisitions as required. Recommends adjustment in inventory levels when appropriate.

? Assists in the preparation of capital budget items and monitors the completion of capital projects. Reports project status as appropriate. Serves as project manager as appropriate.

Ensures that assigned work areas are maintained to provide a safe and efficient work environment.

? Monitors department conditions and insures compliance with safety and housekeeping standards and procedures.

? Identifies and takes corrective action for unsafe conditions and practices.

? Conducts timely investigations of accidents and takes or recommends appropriate corrective action.

? Monitors compliance with established safety procedures and practice. Takes corrective action as required.

Maintains open and effective communications with subordinates, peers, and management.

? Assists in coordinating operations with other supervisors and department managers.

? Communicates maintenance objectives and performance to management and assigned employees.

? Conducts employee performance appraisals in accordance with established procedures when required.

? Counsels with employees regarding work performance issues.

? Maintains effective communications with production and other staff departments.

? Assures compliance with established company policies. Takes or recommends corrective action as required.

? Conducts and/or participates in periodic employee meetings including departmental safety, work group meetings, and employee roundtables.

Assist in the provision of training and development for assigned employees.

? Maintains documentation of processes and work procedures performed in the department.

? Provides for and/or conducts appropriate training for employees.

? Monitors ongoing training operations conducted by department personnel.

? Serves as a coach/facilitator to optimize employee involvement in the resolution of manufacturing and operational problems.

Maintains a high level of professional knowledge and awareness in areas related to assigned responsibilities and functions.

? Participates in ongoing professional development and training in such areas as employee relations and leadership, equipment maintenance, new products, developing technologies, quality standards, and other related topics.

? Participates in Front Line Leadership and other management development activities.


Requirement:

? At least 6 years experience.

? Good organization skills

? Good communication skills (including listening, writing, speaking in required. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

? Ability manage and lead by example

? Must meet strict deadlines

? Computer literate

? Ability to actively participate in team development and team oriented processes and to motivate others to do the same
