Product Manager (Outdoor or Winter Sports)
Main Responsibilities
1.Provide market, consumer, trade and competitive insight and analysis from the region into the business unit product creation process.
2.Define the seasonal product collections required for the region to grow share and revenues and deliver margins as required
3.Close co-operation and Know-how transfer with the product departments of INTERSPORT International to develop and best category solutions.
4.Aligned to the product departments of IIC organize, supervise, optimize all important aspects of category product lines such as: sourcing, design briefing, material specifications, colours, sizing, packaging, quality standards, fulfillment of norms/regulations, price, Incoterms, order/delivery dates etc.
5.Lead the on-time, in full development of regional collection and key account SMUs.
6.Partner with regional retail and sales team to establish seasonal sales, margin, pricing, distribution & product mix targets by market & across all channels
7.Provide product expertise to support key trading relationships and the N/Os.
8.Contribute to the leadership and continuous improvement of the category.
9.Correct and timely execution for other tasks delegated by the category manager.
Job Requirements
-Knowing the sport and products in your category. (both Apparel, Footwear and Hardware)
-Business and commercial acumen
-Consumer & customer insight
-Business finance understanding
-Leadership
-Drive, enthusiasm
-Interpersonal & networking skills
-Influencing & negotiating skills
-Fluent communication skills in English
-Ability to travel frequently
-Around 5 years of product management leadership with strategy, revenue & margin responsibility in an international business
-Specific, substantial experience of technical apparel product creation and commercial leadership
-Significant Asian sporting goods industry experience, ideally in the outdoor, Winter sport or Sporting goods sector
