An international financial institution with the objective of building up their regional support functions in China, a high-profile role has arisen for an experienced Client Data Management Leader to drive the strategy, process change and standardization in Client Data Management for the company.

Job Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Global Functional Leader, you will be the Regional Head of Client Data Management responsible for defining and executing the client data strategy for the Corporate & Investment Banking business in Asia, supporting on various key global and regional programs on Client On-Boarding, Client Due Diligence and Client Selection, as well as driving the development of data capability and client management information. You will focus on implementing consistent procedures and standards in line with the global target operating model, defining data quality framework, data policies and standards, improving data quality, operational risk and controls. In addition, you will enhance information consistency and minimize complexity of information flows across the business. As a regional leader, you will work closely with the business, client servicing teams, technology teams, and senior management in the region.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience in leading large-scale (regional / global) Client Data Strategy / Management programs and / or Client MI gained from Corporate or Investment Banking
- Candidates from Consulting firms specializing in Client Data Strategy
- Solid knowledge of data structure, data system / tools / software, data management policies and practices
- Strong stakeholder facing and relationship management skills
- Excellent team management and leadership skills in a Regional and / or Global function
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills with ability to communicate effectively across regions and to senior management
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and Mandarin.
